Turrbo Boutique Hotel was my first attempt at designing a hotel during my undergraduate studies. The concept was inspired by a group of close friends who love riding vintage motorcycles. During school breaks, we would often form a small convoy and ride out of Bangkok to spend a few quiet days in the mountains, before returning to the city for work or school. This lifestyle became the foundation for my idea: a boutique hotel designed specifically for business travelers who are also vintage motorcycle enthusiasts.

Turrbo Boutique Hotel 是我在本科阶段首次尝试的酒店设计项目，灵感来自我身边一群热爱骑复古摩托车的朋友。我们常常在假期组成车队，驶出曼谷、前往山中小住几日，再返回城市继续工作或学习。这段生活经历启发我构思出一个面向“复古摩托车爱好者”的商务旅客酒店。

In developing the concept, I aimed to blend the rhythm of riding with the mechanical aesthetics of motorcycle culture. Drawing inspiration from the structure of an engine, I positioned the hotel’s main entrance on the second floor, accessible via a semi-outdoor ramp and designated parking spaces for motorcyclists to ride in directly and check in. The first floor was designed as a public commercial zone, featuring a motorcycle rental shop and a vintage-style barber shop, creating a strong sense of rider culture.

Inside the hotel, a gym equipped with a climbing wall was added to reflect the guests’ interest in adventure and physical activity. Architecturally, the massing adopts a zigzag “Z” shape, referencing the dynamic curves of mountain roads — an abstract nod to the winding paths of a road trip. This layout not only supports layered circulation but also introduces rhythm and movement into the spatial experience. The staggered central courtyards allow natural light to flow into the interior, enhancing both functionality and atmosphere.

在概念设定上，我试图结合“骑行”本身的节奏感与摩托车文化的机械美学。设计中借鉴了摩托车引擎的结构逻辑，将主入口设置于第二层，并配有一条半室外的坡道与专属停车位，方便骑车前来的旅客直接骑入并办理入住。一层则设置为开放式商业空间，包含摩托车租赁店与复古风格的男士理发店，营造出浓厚的骑士文化氛围。

酒店内部还特别增设了带有攀岩功能的健身房，以回应旅客对冒险与体能挑战的偏好。建筑体块整体采用“Z”字形布局，灵感来自蜿蜒山路的动态轨迹，既呼应了骑行旅程的路线感，也自然形成了动线上的多重分层。同时，错落的中庭保证了内部空间的采光，也赋予空间节奏感与趣味性。
